Dixon Place is proud to present '8 in Show', a dance series curated by Sangeeta Yesley that features 8 dance companies each evening, giving emerging and established choreographers of all dance forms an opportunity to showcase 5-12 minute pieces.Proposed works should be new or recently re-worked with primarily new choreography. If invited to participate, artists should plan to show the same piece as described in their application.

The dance series is presented by Dixon Place, 161A Chrystie Street, btwn Rivington and Delancey, New York, NY 10002, artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a FULLY EQUIPPED PERFORMANCE SPACE measuring 35 ft X 20 ft with a SPRUNG MASONITE FLOOR.

We are now accepting applications for the following 2024 shows. 

March 27 - Wednesday
There is a possibility of a second '8 in Show' in June.  Once I have a date I will share with you.  Usually it happens on the last Wednesday of June. So, presumably the tentative date could be June 26, 2024.
