SEEKING: Facilitator for Out in the Field: Cinematography Workshop

Happy end of summer friends! As the weather cools down, Butterfly Noir, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting emerging Black artists in the TV, film, and media industries, is seeking a facilitator for our workshops this fall! Read more about the workshop below. 

Out in the Field: Cinematography 

Description: This hybrid, immersive workshop takes participants to iconic locations around the city, teaching them how to capture stunning footage with any camera. They’ll master the use of camera movement and angles to express character emotions, and discover how to set the perfect mood and tone for your film. Whether a seasoned pro or just starting out, this workshop will elevate their cinematography skills to the next level.


Workshop Dates: 6-weeks, Sundays (Hybrid) 1-3 PM EST & Mondays (Virtual) 7-9 PM Sept. 22, Sept. 23, Sept. 29, Sept. 30, Oct. 6, Oct. 7, Oct. 13, Oct. 14, Oct. 20, Oct. 21, Oct. 27, Oct. 28

Compensation: $100 per session
