WHITE WAVE Dance Company and the DUMBO Dance Festival are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in arts administration, event planning, and nonprofit management while supporting one of New York’s most celebrated dance festivals.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of the 2025 DUMBO Dance Festival and other WHITE WAVE events.
Support daily administrative tasks, including email correspondence, database management, and scheduling.
Help with marketing initiatives, including social media updates, press releases, and community outreach.
Coordinate with artists, venues, and vendors to ensure smooth event logistics.
Assist with grant research and fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:

Passion for dance and the performing arts.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) and social media platforms is a plus.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in event coordination or arts administration is a bonus but not required.
