Finding Compassion is a dance showcase that provides a platform for choreographers to create lasting impact on issues that are important to them. Through the use of live performance, choreographers pair their dance with a charity of their choice, bringing awareness to the cause and the possibility for monetary support. Finding Compassion 2024 will be presented at Arts on Site on May 3rd in New York City. 
5 to 7 artists will be chosen to present 3-10 minutes of a live dance performance. 
Applications for completed works will include the final dance film or recorded performance to be presented in the showcase. Any completed dances with the intention to be reset/changed must be submitted as a work in progress.
Applications for works in progress must include a video of phrase work as well as any other relevant information including but not limited to title of music, number of dancers, usage of props, etc.
**Please note all choreographers chosen to present work will be required to attend 2 to 3 meetings with the founders and provide promotional materials, all of which will be discussed after the selection of applicants. 
Applications open January 1st and are due February 1st, 2025. Choreographers will be notified February 15th, 2025.
