In April 2025, the Company will present our 3rd Annual Youth Dance Platform at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Chelsea. We invite applications from youth dance-focused organizations and performing groups from NYC & beyond to present dance works as part of the Platform – all genres of dance are welcome! MWC will present 10-12 youth dance companies in performance, as well as hosting a pre-show movement workshop for the performers. All interested applicants should fill out the Google Form (see link below), where more information about the Platform can be found.

Matthew Westerby Company’s mission is to build community through the arts, including creating opportunities for young people to participate in the professional performing arts in a non-competitive, supportive & inclusive setting, broadening their experience & developing networks between organizations in NYC & beyond.

MWC began the Youth Dance Platform in 2023, and since its inception over 200 young performers from across NYC, Westchester & Connecticut have joined us to present works onstage and to get to know each other in pre-show community workshops. And we’re back for another year!
