This is a non-AEA project developed at Columbia University School of the Arts | For 2nd Year MFA students, under the guidance of Anne Bogart, Brian Kulick, and Lynn Nottage. SAG-AFTRA actors are eligible.
About the Project:
Looking for a Black Male actor with Tap Dance and Jazz training
Synopsis: During a frostbitten winter, two black local Philadelphian comedian’s fight
for a chance at stardom to avoid the pressures of the impending housing crisis impacting
their daily lives.
Production Dates:
Rehearsals start February 7th
Tech is March 6th - 13th
Performance dates (3 shows): March 14-15th

African American. Male,
A seasoned comic in the style of Martin Lawrence’s SNL monologue. Actively managing his lack of housing and alcohol addiction to cope with his mental illness.
