Join YAC - Call for New Members

CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS!

Dance/NYC’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a New York-based community of contemporaries working as dance artists and administrators, who serve as a liaison for our demographic and generate ideas that will serve our common goals and those of Dance/NYC. YAC was created as a counterpart to Dance/NYC’s Advisory Board to advocate for young professionals in dance. Representing New York City’s 19-to-30 demographic, we strive to strengthen and unite our community, serve as a catalyst for innovation and invention in our work and re-energize our peer group in a challenging field.

YAC is comprised of 20 members per year, who commit to service from September though July, meeting as a full committee from 6:30 to 8pm on the first Thursday of each month at Dance/NYC in SoHo. Applications will be accepted though May 31, 2010 for the coming year. If you’d like to join, or volunteer with YAC, please complete this application form.

We’ll respond to this cycle of applicants in late June. Thank you for your interest!
