This event has already occurred. Please enjoy event information below.

When: Saturday, November 10, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Gibney Dance, 890 Broadway at 19th Street, Fifth Floor, Studio 5-2, New York, NY

Anne Zuerner's vessel ventricle pearl
curated by and moderated by members of RedCurrant Collective

In Anne Zuerner's vessel ventricle pearl, three dancers hover on the edge of a black abyss, inside of a tiny space, as if inside a terrarium. Their world is constantly shifting, shuffling and shaking. Articulating intricate and emotive gesture, they exist at the intersection of past, present, future and fantasy. Something approaches from the horizon.

Come for a second chance to see vessel ventricle pearl and stay for a post-screening discussion about the relationship between rehearsal and performance.

Sorry I Missed Your Show was jointly developed by Gibney Dance Center and Dance/NYC as a “second chance” to view works by both emerging and established choreographers, as well as a forum for artists and their audiences to revisit them from fresh perspectives.
