Town Hall: Taxes for Artists

Learn the essentials of tax filing for artists and dancers. Dance/NYC’s Junior Committee is a volunteer organization that promotes advocacy and sustainability for the NYC dance community. We are committed to fostering professional development in our constituency. With tax season fast approaching, JComm invites you to a forum with Certified Public Accountant Rosalba Mazzola, who will address record keeping, itemized deductions, tax strategies for freelancers, and more. Whether you’re interested in filing your own taxes, not sure what to do with your receipts, or just want to know how to avoid an audit, join us for this interactive discussion.

Founder of Mazzola Financial Services, Mazzola has been in the accounting and tax industry for over fifteen years. She specializes in individual and corporate income taxes, and accounting for small businesses.
