Technical Theater / Space Management Internship with BodiBalance @ Dance Forum

 

Gain experience in non-profit arts technical theater and space management. Get hands on experience in a small office environment at small dance studio/performance space. Assist in small theatrical/dance productions and managing a small dance studio. Applicants should be organized and have proficient technical skills for theatrical equipment or the desire to learn to work with theatrical equipment. Experience in an office environment is helpful but not required.

 

BodiBalance is a system of dance training, body conditioning and kinesthetic awareness all in one. It was created especially for dancers by New York dancer/choreographer Carol Fonda. It gives you a clear physical understanding of how freely and spontaneously your body is designed to move, no matter what style you dance.

 

Dance Forum, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization supporting the health and creativity of performing artists as well as the education of the broader community through its signature dance training – BodiBalance.

 

Unpaid, free dance classes

2 to 3 days a week (10 to 15 hours)

Immediately until August 2010, can be extended
