SPACE @ Clarence Mews E5

Since 2003 Caroline Salem has been running affordable programmes to provide artists with the best environment for the research, development and creation of their new work. A beautiful working space designed by architect Ed Frith of Moving Architecture, Clarence Mews is 5 minutes from Hackney Central and Hackney Downs stations, in East London, UK

"...one of London's hidden gems - a beautiful space to work - so thoughtfully designed in terms of light, texture and space. Working at Clarence Mews has been a very rich experience for my practice as an artist: the programmes enable dance and performance makers to take a breath, plunge in and create something extraordinary - or certainly something that they might not risk elsewhere!”  Lucy Cash, Artis
