Hailed as “the hub and mecca for dancing in North America” (Time) and “the dance center of the nation, possibly the world” (The New York Times), Jacob’s Pillow draws an annual audience of over 80,000 patrons to its 163-acre National Historic Landmark grounds in the culture-rich Berkshires, where it presents over 300 performance and engagement events each season and supports extensive School, Archives, Creative Development Residency, and Community Program activities. A cultural, tourism and dance artists’ destination, The Pillow celebrates its 80th Anniversary in 2012.
