Call for Choreographers: Evolve Dance Festival 2011

 

WHAT IS THE EVOLVE DANCE FESTIVAL?

The Evolve Dance Festival is an evening of visionary professional dance, presented by the contemporary dance company, Evolve Dance.  The festival includes works by Evolve Dance as well as emerging and established dance companies, individual artists, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

WHO IS EVOLVE DANCE INC?

Evolve Dance is a nonprofit professional dance company based in Tarrytown, NY.  Evolve Dance was founded in 2006 with the mission of contributing the art form of dance as a medium for creative growth and exchange.  For more information, please visit www.evolvedance.org

WHEN & WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?

This season, the festival will be held on Friday, March 25th at 7:30 pm.  It will be held at the historic Tarrytown Music Hall.  Please visit their website for theater specs and directions. (www.tarrytownmusichall.org). 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Evolve Dance welcomes submissions from any emerging or established dance artist/company of any genre.  Past Guest Artists include:  Kyle Abraham, Camille A. Brown, Julian Barnett, Nicholas Leichter Dance, T.Lang, Rebecca Kelly Ballet, Matthew Westerby, John J. Zullo Dance, Exit 12 Company, Sri Dance and many more.

HOW TO APPLY

Application materials must be submitted by November 30th, 2010.
