Come Audition for CLIMAX!

 
 DANCERS! MOVERS! SHAKERS!

Seeking MALE DANCERS (contemporary, hiphop, unique) for CLIMAX (working title), a new evening-length work taking place this April at the Tank in midtown, NYC.

 

Auditions will be on: 

December 4th, 2:30-4:30, and December 5th, 2-4pm

Auditions will be held at:

Dance New Amsterdam - 280 Broadway, 2nd floor (entrance on Chambers). By appointment only - please RSVP.

 
At these auditions, you can expect to:

·      learn a phrase or two

·      be asked to generate some individual or partnered movement in response to a prompt

·       share other pertinent skills you have to offer (percussion, vocal, linguistic, design, digital media...)

 

CLIMAX will begin rehearsals in early March and culminate in performances on April 21st and 22nd.

 

Rehearsals will mostly take place in Manhattan (possibly a few at BAX in Park Slope), and will never go over schedule :)

 

Performers will be offered a minimum stipend of $100, as well as a DVD performance reel.
