Dances Patrelle, a New York City-based professional ballet company, is holding an audition for student dancers for a brand new ballet – Gilbert & Sullivan, The Ballet!, choreographed by Francis Patrelle.

Young dancers will have the opportunity to dance alongside illustrious professional dancers from ballet companies in NYC, across the US and abroad.

The audition will be February 13th, 4pm-6pm at Ballet Academy East, 1651 3rd Ave, 3rd Floor. Dancers should arrive between 3pm and 3:30pm to sign in.

We are casting young ladies and gentlemen eleven years old and up for a variety of roles. All ladies will be asked to dance en pointe.

Rehearsals will be held at Ballet Academy East Sunday afternoons starting in March and running through the performances on May 12th-15th, 2011 at the Dicapo Opera Theater. Dancers must also be available for technical rehearsals in the evenings from May 8th-11th.
