ChEckiT!Dance, which is a new all-female dance company in the modern/contemporary dance style, is looking for female dancers to cast in two pieces of our repertory. One piece will be performed at the Alvin Ailey studios on March 26th, and the other will be performed at Steps on Broadway on April 15th or 16th. Both performances will take place in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We are also looking to cast dancers to perform with us in May at the NYC Dance Parade, which also takes place in Manhattan. Our rehearsals are in Brooklyn, NY at Triskelion Arts, 118 North 11th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211.

***We will be holding an audition at Triskelion Arts THIS SUNDAY, Feb. 27th at 2:30PM and also at 4:00PM***

Qualifications:

*Only female dancers are needed at this time
*Must commit to weekly Sunday rehearsals beginning on March 6th (rehearsal is from 6-8PM on that day)
*Must be available March 25th and 26th, April 15th and 16th, and May 21st for tech rehearsals and performances listed above
*Must be willing to work with young and emerging choreographers with unique styles and fun personalities
*Must be open minded to new forms of dance and art
*Must be willing to work for NYC performance experience only, since we are not able to offer monetary compensation at this time

Along with New York City performance exposure, ChEckit!Dance also provides its dancers with free exposure on our website, free access to our company classes, free dance photographs, and video footage of all our performances!!!
