Female Dancer Needed 5'10'' or above for Performance in July

SINecdoche Dance is seeking a female dancer who is skilled and interested in improvising, creating and who enjoys being engaged in the process of dance-making for our inaugural season on July 8, 9 and 10. We are looking to fill a specific role, in which the dancer should be 5'10'' or taller, and is adept at release/contemporary styles.

The right candidate will also be considered for a permanent position with the company. Dancers will be compensated for rehearsals and performances.

There will be 5 shows (matinees and evenings on the 9th and 10th) - please ensure you are available for all 3 dates, and the week prior to that for tech.

Our company rehearsals are on Wednesday mornings, 9:00 - 12:00 in the Chelsea area, and Sunday mornings, 9:30 - 12:30 in the West Village.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, June 1, from 9:00 - 12:00 in Chelsea. Please send in a resume and letter of interest if you would like to participate. If June 1 is does not work for you, but Sunday June 5 is a possibility, please indicate that in your email. You will only be allowed to audition if you RSVP by 11:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31.

Please do not respond if you are not available for both rehearsal days, or if you are not available on the week of the performance.
