Dance Choreographer/ Dance Teacher

 

Dance Choreographers wanted for June 23rd informal presentation at 8pm.

* Must be currently teaching dance in New York City (anywhere within the 5 borroughs)

* Must have previous live performance experience

Ciona Taylor Productions in association with Fit, Fab, and Sexy® is offering an informal open studio presentation of new choreography by rising and established choreographers. The event is free and open to the public. The event will last no longer than 1 hour.

Each choreographer must provide his/ her own dancers, costumes (optional), and props (we have some folding chairs, and small table if you need).

Routine should not exceed 6 minutes, and must be at least 3 minutes long. All dance styles are welcome, but we can not permit tap on the floor (if you can bring your own flooring for tap that's fine, but otherwise no tap).

These do not have to be completed works, as this is an informal presentation.

Interested parties must remit:
- Resume
- Brief description of dance piece (include length of routine, style of dance, total number of dancers, prop requirements)
- Photo of choreographer
- Photo of dance troupe or dancers if available

Remit information via email.

Deadline is Wednesday June 8th 10am.

This is a non paid engagement and is free to the public to attend. This event is being presented as part of National Dance Week.
