Ocularpation:Wall Street

OCULARPATION: WALL STREET

Are you tired of openings at supposedly cutting edge venues that claim to push boundaries and critique social norms and end up with a strangely familiar and stale pandering to the people they said they were challenging?
Hell, I know I am!
Come be part of a project that is actually pushing into exciting waters!

Have you ever wondered what is actually going on down on at Wall Street and thought to yourself, 'Who works there anyway?'
Now is your chance to find out!


What:
Large performance on Wall Street.
50 performers mirroring the demographics of who works on the actual street of Wall.
The 50 performers will be split proportionally amongst the jobs that are carried out on Wall Street daily. They will be performing these occupations for 5 minutes while naked on the street.
Wall Street exposed!


When:
5 minutes on August 1st, 2011


Who:
We need people in these positions:

-Performers (people who don't get embarrassed easily).
Dancers, actors, folks who do not minding being naked in public for 5 minutes.
It’s August! It’ll be warm!

-Video and photo people
Got a camera and like to see a true spectacle? This is the project for you!

-Helpers
Are you good at organizing people, emailing or helping  and want to be part of a great project? I've got just the spot for you!


Total Time Commitment:
3.5 hours
-1 rehearsal for 2.5 hours and 1 hour the actual day of the performance.
