AMD Seeking Dancers for Future Projects
Aaron McGloin Dance is seeking male & female dancers for future projects with the company. Interested dancers should have solid technique, stylistic versatility, and a strong sense of self.
Artistic Director Aaron McGloin will be teaching at Dance New Amsterdam as part of the Modern Guest Artist series August 8-18th, 2011. Aaron McGloin was born and raised in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a BFA in Choreography. He was the winner of the Arizona Choreography Competition, recently received a residency as part of the Raw Material program at DNA, and has been recognized by Dance Magazine/DanceMedia.com, The Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Dance Examiner, 944 Magazine, hearsight.com & offoffoff.com. After directing his own professional company in AZ for 3 years he moved to New York to continue to develop and expand his body of work. In his short time here he has presented work at the Joyce SoHo, The Rover, and the RoofTop Dance series, and is busy creating new work to premiere in the upcoming months.
