Spark Movement Collective (Spark) is seeking well-rounded, athletic female and male dancers with a background in modern and ballet for its upcoming 2011-2012 Season. Spark is looking for dancers with strong stage presence and the ability to give creative input while picking up steps quickly. A private audition will be held on Tuesday, August 16th from 7-8:30pm in Midtown. Spark's season will include indoor and outdoor site-specific works in Brooklyn Bridge Park (DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL), Central Park, Andaz Hotel, and more. New contemporary modern works will be developed and performed for multiple festivals in the New York area in addition to a weekend of solo performances in Manhattan. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:00pm.
