For Choreographers:
Honor Pictures is producing a 19 minute dramatic film which is festival bound, with dance numbers to be performed by actors and actual dancers. This is an opportunity to expose your skill and creative abilities. You will be given credit, DVD copy for your portfolio, press kit opt in for bios and some pay.

Collaborate with emerging director on numbers for main characters (2) and 3 additional dancers, one of which should be a struggling-to-be-good, go-go dancer.

You will choreograph one number to pop music, the rest to club (trance/techno/hip-hop). You will need to perform a short contemporary or experimental dance number + another (club dance for a woman). Must also be capable of choreographing men, separate affect.

Details about Film:
Choreographer will need to also be a good communicator, capable of collaborating with director on direction, mood, feel, color of dance. Choreographer will factor in on costuming so it is essential they be professional through and through. Filmmakers are producing this through crowd funding, so pay will be deferred til funds are in.

Studio space will be provided. Soon after hire you will meet the actors, gauge their
moving ability, communicate with director concerning their ability to dance. Then you
will begin teaching them or we may launch auditions which you can help with (to pick
dancers to work with as body doubles to actors).

Film Shoots on weekends in November.

All applicants must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be reliable enough to make auditions, be ready to show prepared dance or make it up
on the spot to music you bring.
• Be open to working with an emerging film director, more than open -ready to create striking, engaging pieces of work.
• Be known for innovative dance ideas and execution
• Be very hard working but also able to relax when it's appropriate
