This is an exciting position in WHITE WAVE’s Festivals Project administration, with full responsibility for the operation of the 2011/2012 Festivals Project.  Through executive oversight of day-to-day operations, the Festival Coordinator oversees WHITE WAVE’s 9th Annual Cool New York 2012 DANCE Festival(Jan. 25th  – Feb. 5th , 2011), 12th Anniversary of the 2012 DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL(Sept. 20th -23th ), 7th Annual WAVE RISING SERIES(Oct. 17th -Nov. 4th ), and. This position serves a variety of administrative functions that include financial management, fundraising, human resources management, and public/community relations.  Reporting to the Artistic Director and working closely with technicians, press personnel, and interns, the Festival Coordinator carries out her/his responsibilities in accordance with the vision and strategic direction for the 2011/2012 Festivals Project as set by the Artistic Director and the Board of Directors.
