Insects represent over 90% of multicellular life on earth, dominating thebiological spectrum with over 100 million species. KINEMATIK DanceTheater ventures into the bustling world of bugs, bees, ants, spidersand flies with the premiere of INSEKTA, a dance exploration of theintricate and complex microorganisms that surround us. Collaborating

with technology artist Cheng-I-Wang, KINEMATIK depicts the diversityand the metamorphic cycles of insects through dance, live projectionsand the unusual use of props. Fusing technology with the movementvocabulary of Breakdance, House, Hip Hop and Contemporary moderndance, KINEMATIK creates an imaginative, unique and visually stimulatingperformance experience.

We are looking for someone creative and reliable and who thinks outsidethe box. Costume wise we are open to any ideas, but would prefer nothingtoo over the top, abstract rather than literal and simple yet effective.

Costumes need to be ready by the end of April.
