ClancyWorks Dance Company Immediate Opening for Male and Female Dancers!

 

ClancyWorks Dance Company is looking for Male and Female Dancers For Upcoming Performances for our 2012-2013 Performance Season!

--Dancers should have a strong background in contemporary modern dance with aninterest in partnering and exploring ideas analytically as well as physically.

In addition to formal concerts (around 10 each season – both regionally and nationally),ClancyWorks Dance Company conducts a series of Arts in Education Residencies and School Assemblies (around 30 each season) throughout the Greater Washington, DC area. Dancers are paid at a competitive wage for rehearsals and performances, and have the opportunity to earn more funds through teaching in our Arts-In Ed Programs for K-12 students. We also offer professional development and teacher training.

ClancyWorks Dance Company is an ensemble of contemporary dance artists, based in the Washington, DC area and founded in 2001. We create choreography that features dynamic partnering work and reflects our powerful aesthetic and social vision, to form trust within a framework of diversity.
