Corporate Event Gig

 
Looking for talented pop singers and jazz funk dancers needed for a corporate event on the evening of October 10, 2012. Must look in their 20s! 3 female and 3 male culturally diverse pop singers who move extremely well. We need great singers who are comfortable with harmonies. Our lyricist will be taking the names of 100 companies and putting them in the melody of known pop songs. THEY MUST BE SAID CORRECTLY so if you have trouble with lyrics, this isn't the gig for you. 2 female and 2 male dynamic dancers who can work as an ensemble and step out and take the stage! Looking for jazz funk and hip hop style combined with great performance quality! Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 11th at 10am for singers and 1pm for dancers. Singers should prepare a contemporary pop song that demonstrates range, performance quality, and musicality. Dancers should bring flat shoes to dance in and be prepared to show special skills(tumbling a plus). Callbacks will be held Friday, September 14th. Music will be sent out the 17th and rehearsals for singers will start on Monday, October 1st. Dancers will be called to rehearse starting Tuesday, October 2nd. Rehearsals will take place during the day. There will also be a staging rehearsal on the evening of Monday, October 8th. Non-union. Pays $500.00 total for rehearsals and performance.
