Chen Dance Center's NEWSTEPS Choreographers' Series announces an Open Call for auditions for the Fall 2012 showcases and space grants. This series (est. 1994) has helped launch the careers of numerous choreographers and is dedicated to providing support and performance opportunities for experimental, innovative, and risk-taking dance artists.

Located in Lower Manhattan, the Chen Dance Theater is a state-of-the-art black box venue ideal for modern dance.
