INTERN WITH NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION

Preparations are underway for NYIBC 2013, marking our 30th Anniversary. We are thrilled to be returning to our home, the beautiful Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

As we strive to discover, educate, mentor and showcase the most gifted and engaging dancers from around the world NYIBC continues to be the premiere program of its kind; and we are looking for exceptional talent to help us make it all happen. There has never been a more exciting time to be part of our team.

NYIBC interns are dynamic, passionate about excellence and committed to furthering NYIBC’s mission.Interns are rewarded by having an active role within NYIBC. This enables them to be an integral part of an internationally renowned arts organization and to gain access to professional and networking opportunities.

*2012 APPLICATION DEADLINE*
Winter/Spring: December 1, 2012

*ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP*
Graduate students in arts administration, recent college graduates andundergraduate students in any relevant field are encouraged to apply. Intern positions are unpaid.
However, school credit can be arranged.

Internship Departments:

Administration- As an administrative intern you will assist with organizational, research-based, archivaland communication tasks in order to prepare for NYIBC 2013.

Development- As a development intern you will assist in grant research, events planning, eventscoordination, assist in creating fundraising letters and grant tracking.

Marketing – As a marketing intern you will assist with the organization’s social media efforts, YouTubeChannel, our monthly e-newsletter and editing website copy.

Public Relations- As a public relations intern you will assist with updating our press list, coordinating press coverage, posting events and interacting with dance bloggers.
