Business Development

 
NYC Dance Week seeks an independent, enthusiastic individual to work with our newly branded organization in a sales and marketing capacity. Dance Week holds a yearly marketing event to promote the dance community by offering access to free dance, fitness & wellness classes throughout NYC’s five boroughs. Applicant would be responsible for contacting prospective clients and serve as a business liaison between Dance Week and clients. Responsibility would also include creating a business packet and meeting with prospective clients to perform business presentations.
Applicant should beenthusiastic, creative and eager to learn, possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate a keen interest in working with sales and marketing and be interested in arts and culture.Applicant should possessexcellent communications skills – both written and verbal, good organization and research skills, pay close attention to details, have ability to work independently, as well as having a courteous phone manner and experience with Microsoft Office.
Additional Requirements/Info:
-Degree or working towards a degree in business or marketing
- Start immediately until mid-July
- Full or part-time
-Commission-based: 20% of sales
