Chen Dance Center's NEWSTEPS Series announces an Open Call for auditions for the Spring 2013 showcases. This semi-annual series (est. 1994) has helped launch the careers of numerous choreographers and is dedicated to providing space grants, support, and performance opportunities for experimental, innovative, and risk-taking dance artists.

Located in Lower Manhattan, the Chen Dance Theater is a state-of-the-art black box venue ideal for modern dance.
