Jodi Kaplan & Associate is now excepting submissions for the 5th Annual bookingDANCE Festival Edinburgh 2013/ Informational Meeting

Looking for International performing opportunities at the world’s largest arts festival?

Jodi Kaplan / Booking Dance prepares to move dance onto the center stage at the Edinburgh Fringe again this August. Presenting dynamic dance companies from America in one show. The Edinburgh Fringe is the world’s oldest and largest open arts Festival and offers significant opportunity for exposure. The bookingDANCE “festival within a festival” has continued to captivate audiences and gain International exposure for the participating artists for over 5 years.

Until now the bookingDANCE Festival has been invitation-only, but as the scope of the performance series increases JK&A is opening up the application process to all US based dance companies. As the need for International exposure increases for both established and emerging dance companies this festival was designed as a springboard for artists to gain exposure and ultimately International bookings.

Important Dates:

Informational Meeting: Monday, January 14th @ 11am
Hilton Hotel on 54th and Ave of the Americas

*This meeting is HIGHLY recommended for interested applicants

Festival Performances: Wednesday, August 14th – Sunday, August 18th (both showcase format and longer performances available)

Participating artists will be responsible for a production fee and all travel/housing. Additional information on the Festival and its multiple opportunities will be covered at the Informational Meeting. All serious applicants are encouraged to attend.
