TrioDance Collective- Workshop Audition Series

 
TrioDance Collective invites dance artists into the process for a two day workshop audition series led by Co-Artistic Directors Barbie Diewald and Emily Jeffries.
Geared towards professional dancers, the workshops are meant to deepen the audition process and open possibilities to work with new artists in upcoming projects within the company.
Rehearsal stipend and paid performance.

Workshops will be held at CPR- Center for Performance Research

Wednesday, January 30 and Monday, February 4

10:am to 1:pm

$10 per workshop

$15 for both workshops

TrioDance Collective seeks tochampion the individual dance artist within the support of a group structure.
The company has presented the work of Artistic Directors Barbie Diewald and Emily Jeffries since its inception in 2010. Trio has produced full seasons at The 92nd Street Y, The Cunningham Studios, Mark Morris Dance Group, and Triskelion Arts, and looks forward to a sixth season this February at CPR. In addition to fully realized performances, TrioDance presents Open Dialogue, a studio series which invites an intimate audience into the studio for the sharing of new works in progress. TrioDance Collective also curates GREEN LINE, enriching communal support and establishing a unique platform that fosters artists' interaction. Through its diverse processes and programs, TrioDance Collective challenges its artists to explore, create and evolve.

TrioDance Collective’s upcoming season,Sixthwill be presented February 8 & 9, 2013 at 7:30pm at CPR- Center for Performance Research. Premiering at this performance are Barbie Diewald'sWakeand Emily Jeffries'6/20/12-2/9/13.
