AVtv Creations Seeking Dancers for New Project
Interested in meeting like-minded, creative dancers with a modern dance background to join the company. Improvisation skills a must, and experience with film a plus.
AVtv Creations was founded by Alissa Horowitz and Victor Lazaro out of a desire to push the boundaries of their respective art forms, dance and film. Past/upcoming performances at CPR, Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Green Space, Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, Spoke the Hub. Their films have been shown at the Coney Island Film Festival, Dance Film Lab and Cape Cod Filmmaker Takeover.
Dancers will be participating in the creation of a new piece based on the idea of letting go. Check out the pre-choreographic process here:addmytag.tumblr.com
Interested dancers should send their resume, photo (preferably in motion), and a few sentences about themselves to: avtvcreations@gmail.com
If we think you’d be a good fit, you will be contacted with an audition date.
