Lydia Johnson Dance is seeking a highly musical and individual male dancer with strong ballet technique and partnering skills for contemporary work, including NYC Season at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, June 6, 7, 8, 2013. Competitive pay for project. Past male guest artists with LJD have included dancers from Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, New York City Ballet, Ballet X, Paul Taylor Dance Company, ODC/San Francisco, among others. LJD generally rehearses Tuesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons in NYC, with some flexibility in the schedule to allow for dancers involved in multiple projects.
