TICINO IN DANZA

Come dance in the Italian region of Switzerland, 7 days discovering the wonderful landscapes, fresh air, good food and lots of dancing.
Prestigious teachers, guest choregraphers, an international environment full of opportunity of exchange. A dancing vacation by the lake in the foothills of the Alps, 15min from Lake Como. Organized trips to explore the area and sample local specialties. 35 hours of dance classes of intermediate-advanced level in ballet, modern jazz, contemporary, hiphop/ragga, pilates, and GYROKINESIS(R) and masterclasses taught by the artists of the Festival.

At the end of the week there will be a Gala Performance in the Piazza della Chiesa in Chiasso, choreographed by the faculty, and there will be the opportunity for the students and their respective schools to present their own choreographies.

The Campus and the rehearsals will take place at the Maria Selvini Dance School (Scuola di Danza Maria Selvini) in the town of Chiasso, which features 3 dance studios ( Which will be available after the classes for individual rehearsals.)

Ticino in Danza wants to be a constructive and supportive environment for students to perform and enrich their artistry. Various site specific shows will take place in different location around the region hosting companies from France, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, USA. 

 

Campus with accommodation ( 7 days )
