This project combines live choreography and large-scale video projections to tell a story of interconnectivity, travel and history. Produced by Chris Henderson, Film by Nathan Punwar, Choreographed by Mayuna Shimizu/Blue Muse Dance. Associate Dir of BMD: Hazuki Honma.

Audience members will follow the narrative of the piece as they walk the span of the 2,810 foot Pulaski Bridge that connects Greenpoint, Brooklyn with Long Island City, Queens across the Newtown Creek. During their walk, they will encounter four separate projections and two unique performances which each tell a distinct part of the narrative in order.

The project will engage its audience in a discussion of local history and their communities, as well as broader questions of duality and interconnectivity. The piece gives each audience member an opportunity to reflect on the community’s history while witnessing a creative spectacle of performance and projection.
