Production Intern - Dancewave

 


PRODUCTION/SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN
Dancewave seeks a Production Intern to assist in the execution of production and event activities for the organization. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain real, hands on production experience in a non-profit organization. Skills cultivated under the guidance of the Dancewave directors during this internship will assist the aspiring individual in his/her pursuits in the field of dance production.


Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

Responsibilities

·         The Production Intern will help plan and manage all Dancewave performances for the season. Duties will include stage management for each show, in addition to the scheduling of crew, staff and performers.

·         This intern will be required to assist in set-up and strike of theater.

·         This intern will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of production budget and final expense reports.

Candidate must be available for all production times including load-in, tech, performance and load-out.
