Principal Ballet InstructorSerious ballet school in Northern NJ just across from NYC is looking to find a principal ballet faculty member who will eventually take over the associate director role. Start date is September 1st.

Applicants interested must have the following essential skills and Experience:

Experienced ballet teacher with at least 7-10 years of work experience in a professional ballet school teaching dancers ages 7-13.
Knowledge of the classical repertoire with ability to direct staging and rehearse ballets including the Nutcracker.
Experienced setting group and solo pieces for YAGP.
Experience teaching variations and character is required
Has had a professional career as a dancer
Must be able to work evenings Tuesday-Friday and Saturdays from 10:00-1:30
Administrative skills are important. Experience following a specific school curriculum and syllabus
Understands how to break down and build up a curriculum
Experience conducting student evaluations
