Performers Needed for Art Film

I am looking for 3-5 performers to participate in an art film.  Filming would require meeting for 1-2 days for 4 hours on October the 19th, 24th, 26th or 28th.  During these days we would either film in a sound stage or in public settings.  Performers must be comfortable working in variety of public settings.

Performers would be asked to wear a sculptural costume (please see https://vimeo.com/75924899 or christinasukhgianhoule.weebly.com for images and video).  They will be asked to make gestural and expressive movements while in the costume and will be expected to contribute vocally to the collaborative process, expressing their ideas and choreographic interests.  Participants should be comfortable working in ensemble type environment, good at taking direction and easy to work with.

No pay but travel and food will be provided on all days filming, as will copy and credit.  Please email Christina at beingbelushi@gmail.com to set up a phone interview.

Christina Sukhgian Houle is an award winning choreographer and film maker.  Her videos have been screened internationally and in 2011 she was awarded the Andy Warhol Foundation Idea Fund Grant for "Migration Patterns During Wartime". Her upcoming performance inspired by "Rite of Spring" will be workshopped at Movement Research later this year.
