Gallim Dance will be holding FEMALE AND MALE auditions January 13 – 18, 2014. Contracts begin in 2014.

The company is looking for candidates with exceptional dance training, performance experience, and an interest in improvisation and the creative process. Dancers will receive a 45-minute audition slot on Monday, January 13 or Tuesday, January 14 and must be available for callbacks on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19:

Group 1: Monday, January 13, 2014 | 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Group 2: Tuesday, January 14, 2014 | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Group 3: Friday, January 17, 2014 | 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM 

Callbacks: Saturday, January 18, 2014 | 12:00 - 6:00 PM (all day)

Callbacks: Sunday, January 19, 2014 | 3:00 - 6:00 PM 

Auditions will be held at Gallim Dance's studio, located at 520 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn (C to Clinton-Washington Avs).

Gallim’s repertory and schedule are intense, highly physical, and demanding of a creative spirit. Main activities include creating new work, teaching, and touring locally, nationally, and internationally.

2013-2014 artistic highlights include performances at the Theatre National de Chaillot in Paris, France, the Festspiele Ludwigshafen in Ludwigshafen, Germany, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Massachusetts, and Dancer’s Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
