Bryn Cohn + Artists Seeks Marketing/Media Associate

Bryn Cohn + Artists is seeking a Marketing + Media associate for “into the dark,” an evening length work to premiere in June 2014.Using a variety of methods (social media, film, newsletter campaigns, website), we will generate a creative and accessible presence to bring this work to existing and new audiences. We are looking for individuals with a strong technical foundation and knowledge of arts administration.
Dates:Should be available to start February 18thfor a commitment through June 14th2014 with 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities will include:
- build a comprehensive marketing plan that reflects the aesthetic and intention of the work
- collaborate with Bryn to strategize and implement media campaigns that are imaginative and clear
- reach out to publications and press
- utilize social media and web presence to share the work with audiences
Qualifications:
- strong design capabilities
- experience with website management (Wordpress), video editing (iMovie or Finalcut Pro), Mailchimp, Photoshop, and social media (Facebook and Tumblr)
- organization and research skills
- positive attitude, openness, and strong communication experience
Compensation:$1,000 stipend

into the darkis an exploration of risk, revolt, love and chance.This highly physical and emotionally dense work develops an intimate world that delves into all the complexity that arises when venturing into the places where fear meets rescue.Darkness, as an environment and thematic umbrella, drives the performance in how the dancers develop a shared movement language to tackle all that exists on the precipice of an unknown frontier.
