Professional Program (Ages 16+) Youth Track (Ages 12-16) Deeply Rooteds 2014 Summer Dance Intensive (June 23-July 19) offers technical rigor and artistic development within disciplines of dance. Over four weeks, participants are exposed to a strong curriculum fostering learning and personal growth, along with opportunities to experience the companys repertory through forums, workshops, and performance. Curriculum includes classes based in Horton, Graham, Ballet, Traditional African Dance, and Contemporary Movement. Deeply Rooted accepts beginner, intermediate, and advanced/pre-professional students. All students must audition live or through a video submission. Online Audition Requirements 1) Video All footage should be of the dancer alone with no other bodies present in the video. Candidates must be in neat, formfitting dance attire.
