Call for Cinematic Dance Film Shorts!!!!

NEW DANCE CINEMA is a new film screening event that takes place tri-annually  to showcase directors and choreographers on the forefront of cinematic dance.

NDC is not a typical film festival, but rather an event combining the best of commercial, contemporary and fine arts with live music and an engaging atmosphere.  We invite you to share your work with a diverse audience of artists, patrons and supporters in an unforgettable evening that merges festival with the ecstatic energy of movement both live and on film .

Guidlines:
Films must:
-be shot on location (not in a dance studio)
-utilize the camera as a choreographic tool (rather than 
  one set wide shot)
-have an strongly engaging cinematic concept
-be between 3-7 min


***Filmmakers must be at the event in NYC on May
     23rd to present their work
