“Queen Of the Night” and “Hammerstein’s Late Night”

Variety Worldwide is seeking performers for both “Queen of the Night” and “Hammerstein’s Late Night”, the two productions in residence at the recently restored Diamond Horseshoe in the Paramount Hotel, New York City.

“Queen Of the Night”, “New York’s hottest nightlife event” (NY Magazine) is seeking multifaceted performers for an open-ended run of this immersive theatrical and dining experience that premiered on December 31, 2013. From creator Randy Weiner (producer of Punchdrunk’s “Sleep No More”, co-creator of “The Donkey Show) and an internationally renowned creative team including Christine Jones, Shana Carroll (of Montreal circus troupe Les 7 Doigts de la main), Jennifer Rubell, and Giovanna Battaglia.

 

Butlers (Ensemble): Seeking dancer/actors who are excellent storytellers and have an engaging and welcoming presence.  Must be excited to interact directly with audience members.  Experience working in devised theatrical settings, environmental and/or immersive theater, and the upscale service industry a plus.  Performance artists, improvisers, and actors with dancing chops are also encouraged to submit.

Seeking all ethnicities and an age range of 22-35 years.

 

“Hammerstein’s Late Night” (working title), a late theatrical nightclub experience is seeking dancers.  The production is currently being developed for a May launch, with a planned roll-out of Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  Applicants should be dancers who are excited about creating a unique experience.

The Diamond Horseshoe is the collaborative vision of Variety Worldwide, a global entertainment and hospitality management company led by Randy Weiner and Simon Hammerstein; RFR Holdings, a NYC-based real estate investment, development and management company; and premiere restaurant group, LDV Hospitality.
