Forza Malizia Dance Co. is seeking a strong male Hip-Hop/Contemporary Dancer Julie Matthews

Forza Malizia Dance Co. is seeking a strong, male Hip-Hop/contemporary dancer to perform in Lost in the World, the Journey of Bea at Columbia University this summer, August 14th. This is a very important lead role, and requires someone who is talented, respectful, and above all responsible. Lost in the World, the Journey of Bea is a dance adaptation of Dante's Divine Comedy, and will also serve as a benefit show for The Point Community Development Corporation in the South Bronx. We will be having two rehearsals on Friday, May 16th from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 17th from 10am to 12pm at Ripley Grier Studios. These two rehearsals are for the climax duet piece of the show. Following these rehearsals, we will be having a mandatory rehearsal meeting with the rest of the cast on Sunday, June1st at 10am in Queens (at this meeting I will be collecting the dancer contracts and the cast will have the opportunity to meet one another). Following these commitments our regular rehearsal schedule will begin. We will be rehearsing every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6 to 8p.m. in Queens at Spaceworks dance studio. You will receive $300 a month for this gig, and the commitment for this lead dancer is from Friday, May 16th till the show on August 14th. If you are interested, please email your head shot and resume to mariamalizia89@gmail.com with the subject of the email as Forza Malizia Dance Co. Thank you! ---Forza Malizia Dance Co.---
