Production Manager/Technician

 

Australia’s Strange Fruit

is looking for technicians  in LA and NYC

for upcoming tour dates in North America.

 

Australia’s Strange Fruit is a Melbourne-based performing arts company that performs a remarkable style of outdoor spectacle around the globe that fuses theater, dance, and circus with performances atop 14 foot flexible sway poles. The world-renowned company established a US-based company in 2013 which works a seasonal basis in North America.

 

Pay:  Commensurate with experience; includes all required employer benefits: Workers’ Comp, Disability, Unemployment

 

We are also seeking individuals who enjoy working with a team and has:

experience as a production manager
experience with lighting (particularly with using GrandMA)
enough physical strength to lift 100 lbs and manouvre long, awkward equipment
the ability to legally work in the USA
(ideally) some experience with rigging
the ability to handle some administrative responsibilities.
has a driver’s license
general availability for work with the company on a contract-by-contract basis.

 

We are currently looking for someone who is available for the following dates:

 

Los Angeles, CA: 8th - 10th June

Columbia, MD 12th - 15th June

Salt Lake City, UT 24th June - 1st July

Kennett Square, PA, 4th - 8th September

Providence, RI 25th - 28th Sept
