Pilates Certification - Workstudy Position

 

Ellie Herman Studio is seeking a work-study student for a Comprehensive Pilates Certification at its Park Slope and Carroll Gardens locations. Ellie Herman Studio is an internationally recognized institution specializing in Pilates, Sports Medicine, and Acupuncture.

 

The comprehensive teacher-training program, taught by Ellie Herman herself, includes Functional Anatomy, Mat, Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Springboard, and Arc/Barrel. The course will begin January 2015, and continue on various weekends until May. Teacher training weekends are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-7pm. More information can be found at www.elliehermanpilates.com. The cost of the program is $4250. This balance will be worked off at a rate of $15/hour as a front desk receptionist.
 

Responsibilities as a front desk receptionist include answering the phone, checking clients in, collecting payment, filing, and running errands. We are seeking a hard working, dedicated, and responsible person to work Sunday mornings from 8:30am-1:30pm and either Tuesday or Wednesday night from 4-9pm. A background in movement is preferred; experience with MindBody is a plus.
