CONDER/dance is pleased to announce our open call for dance work for the eighth annual Breaking Ground festival held in Tempe, Arizona.  

Performance dates are March 20 - 21, 2015.  November 15, 2014 : Deadline for applications.
 

Breaking Ground 2015 is an exhilarating weekend of performances, master classes and activities celebrating some of the country's leading voices in contemporary dance. This event has been held annually since 2008, with well attended performances, master classes and social events at the beautiful Tempe Center for the Arts in Arizona. There are three categories of submission: Live Performance - Existing Work, Live Performance - New Work, and Dance Film. All submissions are adjudicated for acceptance into Breaking Ground by a panel of four adjudicators. Applicants will be notified of admittance status by December 1, 2014.

Past artists have included:  Jennifer Chin, Colleen Thomas, Keith Johnson, Ashleigh Leite, Joshua L. Peugh, RJ Muna and Nadar Rosano.

If selected, choreographers will receive $150 - $200 performance stipend.
