SEEKING:

Seven women dancers, ages 7-70, for live performance and music video shoot.

Dancers should be physically expressive, playful, and strong. I’m looking for movers who can learn idiosyncratic material quickly and perform with an equal mix of vitality and precision.

Nov 1 @ 8pm Short-Form performance at CATCH Series (www.catchseries.com)

Nov 15-24 Rehearsals and 2-day Music Video shoot (days/times tbd)

SEVEN OF US is a work for seven women dancers, ages 7 to 70 built out of movement associated with various ages and phases of life. The piece is inspired by growing up, loving your grandmother, being a kid for life, celebrating femininity, having sisters and girlfriends, living with all the layers of your past and future selves, and connections to the generations of women in your life. This piece will be irreverant, high-energy, and celebratory.
