Theater for the New City is currently looking for Stage Managers for its Halloween Costume Ball on Friday, Oct 31st. The event takes place throughout 4 separate theaters inside our facility, and runs from mid afternoon past midnight.

Previous stage managing experience is a plus. The job would involve coordinating artists throughout the night, working alongside the sound and lighting technicians, and communicating with Assistant Directors if questions/problems arise.

This is a ONE TIME, VOLUNTEER position, so no compensation is provided. However, you are allowed to bring a friend in for free. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to build up a resume in stage management. You will get to work with other theater professionals, actors, directors, producers, and musicians, and based on your performance throughout the night, you may be asked to help manage future productions at the Theater for the New City on a paid basis.
